I’ve been in Tropea with my family for a couple days now. I bought the cheapest guitar available in a music shop near Tropea, a town called Vibo Valentia. It cost 70 euros which is less than I would have to spend to bring a guitar here, we took one plane to Rome and another one to Lamezia Terme.
I don’t have a place to write in my bed and breakfast room but I managed to write this song in the 5 days we’ve been here, I wrote the first verse while on the beach, under a rock where there was some shadow because the sun is intense here. The other bits of the song I wrote them while my parents were watching the sunset in a beach near where we are staying.
I Could Sing Along
(Ignore the not so great playing in the second half, also the people walking by me haha)
Lyrics
I can’t keep the count
Of the fighting
Then I say who’s right
To calm it down
Down but it never lands
To land
Down the rabbit hole
Up the volume goes
We’ve done this all before
I could sing along
When it’s me who fights
Who’s counting?
When I say what’s right
They’re laughing hard
Hard
I get caught up
And up
Down the rabbit hole
Up and up I go
I’m yelling down the hall
When I could sing along
Here’s were I wrote the first verse, my mom sneaked in and took a video haha
Here’s where I finished the song.
Here’s my lyric holder haha
And a little picture to see the background a bit better of where I recorded the video
This is the coming up with the first lines
Thank you for joining my Ted Talk.
Happy I managed to do at least one post with the 70 euro guitar.
